what's in a (nick)- name

hi all, friends...

there are a several forum-member with a mysterious, funny, intresting, unusual ... nickname/avatar.
i was just thinking this corner could be a nice place to tell us something about your nick..

My nickname is not so special.... Pouzols.. its a name of a french wine. (allthought i prever Belgian beer).
... And i can tell you there where (are) some wonderfull Pouzols-moments...

so my name is not peter from the year 42, noohh,
Peter at the age of 42, as i decided to be a member of the jana forum. And somewhere i read, that 42
is a magical number, but i don´t know,
a good or a bad one.
My Avatar shows my best girlfriend, a 1400ccm Intruder Chopper, named Suzi Q.
But my wife is allowed, to ride her too.
So there is no reason for jealous mind!

So, who is next?

Well, everybody knows Manhattan... But my nick is not an homage to New York, but to the cocktail... Pouzols a wine, me a cocktail... strange place this!

For anybody who wants to know how is made Manhattan:

2/3 Whisky
1/3 Red Vermouth
2 drops of Angostura

Shake with ice then filter and serve in Martini glasses with a maraschino cherry!

Have a nice hangover!

When I started my Internetcareer i just looked for a name (at this time I could not know that people not from Germany get in contact with me ) wich described my character, and I think it is a little bit like a cloud - the english word for Wolke. I like to be near to the clauds as a paraglider, I like it as a sunscreen and they come and go as they want -thats all. Of course I drive a bike - not called Suzi but Chantalle

What is a "Suskewit" ?

Well, you perhaps know Belgium is something as a complicated country with 3 regions, 3 communities, 3 official languages (not exactly matching the others apsect, of course ) and many other things...

There, tou have a city called Brussels, which is not only that bureaucratic place where "importants" people decide what is "good" for Europe (or for Belgium)... There are people living there, yes ! And I'm one of these...

"Old" brusselaars (people living in Brussels..) are a special sort of Belgian and they have an own "dialect" which is made of flamish/dutch and french and local words...

You are still here ? Ok, now is it easy !

François doesn't exists in the brussel's dialect. It is "Franciscus" (latin origin) and it is become "Suske" due to the centuries, the "I-don't-know-what" and perhaps the beer ;-))

So, let's call me "Suske". But this is an usual "Nickname" in the dutch web-community. As I'm not appreciating to much the "Suske-135896" like nicknames, I've choosen a the diminutive of Suske that my parents and brothers often use, which is SuskeWIT.

Why WIT ? Well, I don't know exactly... It is something like a reference to the clean (?) white color of the little child's face I was some weeks ago

My avatar is the face involved... Few years later. You could think I'm using it because a my grace and beauty ? No, it is not the reason... The day i've seen the René, Raphael, Peeyush, Thomas,...'s avatars, I've found it nice to finally have an idea of the "what are they looking for?" of these internet friends... And much much time later, I decided to do the same (but smaller). That's all.

So i tried one of that famous belgian beers for myself.
Mh oha, cheers, not bad that stuff.
I chanched my avatar to look more serious, and will, after i get all the mysterys of my new digicam, store a good picture in my avatar. Bikes and leather will allmost not a good sign to new Jana Members, i knew.
But Live is still Rock´n´roll, jana also, but youngsters doesnt know about.
