Sorry that I did not answer earlier.
On my webseite janatools.de is still Version 2.5.2, I can not exactly explain the reasons.
As I remember, I dicided not to upload the RC 3.0 version because there where reported some not further specified errors in Version 3.0 from the first users who tested this version.
Unfortunatelly, there had never been enough feedback or a detailed analysis, which is absolutelly nessesary in any software development process.
I think, this is also one of the reasons the wonderfull project felt asleep.
I could not really figure out, if the Version 3.0 was stable enough to offer it to the masses.
For Version 2.5.2 i knew, it was not perfect, but it seems to me stable enough for every-day use. ( I still use it in jana since more than 2 years, and it prepares more than a hundred of mails each day for virus scan without mayor problems)
Every day, I see the great advantage of this program, so I whould be one of the first persons being absolutelly happy if this project has a rebirth.
It might also be possible than some persons tried to contact me by email to talk about this project or to offer their help and ideas, but anfortunatelly I get a lot of spam (hundreds of mails a day) to all my janaserver-related email adresses, so that I often have no other solution to delete all mails of this email-accounts completely without any possibility to sort the non-spam mails out. I can only respond to emails reaching my private accounts
If there ist any possibility to reanimate this project, Andreas, please answer to this thread. I whould be a great benefit!
Of course it is your own decision, and I am not in the position to cast the first stone if you can not spare the time, or if you have other reasons not to do it.
